The Virginia Black Expo is the premier showcase of Black-owned businesses, leaders, and cultural innovators across the Commonwealth. Now in its sixth year, it brings together creators, entrepreneurs, partners, and supporters for a full day of connection, commerce, and celebration.

BLKThrottleCo brings the Bike & Car Show a crowd-pulling feature designed to drive foot traffic, deliver culture-forward visibility, and give attendees something unforgettable to pull up for. Chrome. Paint. Power. Presence.

Is the event free to attend? +

Yes. The Virginia Black Expo is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended so we can keep you in the loop on guest announcements and schedule updates.

How do I register my bike or car for the show? +

Submit the vehicle registration form linked in the hero. Spots are capped at 60 vehicles across five trophy classes, so register early.

Is there a registration fee for vehicles? +

Yes — vehicle entry is $50 per vehicle, paid through VABCC at the time of registration.

Where do I park if I’m attending as a spectator? +

Main Street Station has a parking garage on-site and additional street and lot parking throughout the surrounding Shockoe Bottom area. Rideshare is recommended on event day.

Can I become a vendor even if I’m not in automotive? +

Absolutely. The Expo welcomes Black-owned businesses across every category — food, fashion, beauty, services, products, and beyond.

How do I sponsor a specific trophy class? +

Each of the five trophy classes is available at the Trophy Champion tier ($2,500) — your name goes on the trophy and you present the award on-mic. Five Trophy Champion slots total, one per class.
