Meeting needs today while building stability for tomorrow.

We strengthen community well-being and economic mobility across Virginia through basic-needs support, student readiness, financial education, workforce development, and pathways to entrepreneurship through non-commercial educational programming.

A foundation rooted in community wellbeing, education, and long-term stability.

The VABCC Foundation is a Virginia-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in January 2020 and dedicated to strengthening community wellbeing by supporting individuals and families across the Commonwealth.

As the charitable arm of the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce, the Foundation operates with a people-first mission centered on direct community support and education. We design and deliver programs that address real-life barriers, such as food insecurity, lack of school supplies, and limited access to financial and workforce education, so individuals and families can move forward with dignity and confidence.

All Foundation programs are instructional, supportive, and non-commercial, ensuring that resources are used solely to benefit the communities we serve.

Community-centered support that meets needs and builds long-term stability.

As our work expands, we are building stronger systems to document participation, measure outcomes, and improve the way we serve individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and communities.

This commitment helps us steward resources responsibly, strengthen program quality, and share clearer results with donors, funders, partners, and the communities we serve.
