Advocacy Day brings together business leaders, elected officials, agency representatives, and community stakeholders for meaningful engagement around policies that impact economic growth, entrepreneurship, and small business sustainability in Virginia. The day is designed to educate, connect, and empower participants to effectively engage in the advocacy process.

Advocacy Day
During Advocacy Day, participants will:
- Receive an overview of the legislative process and key policy priorities impacting small and Black-owned businesses
- Engage in discussions with policymakers, legislative staff, and agency leaders
- Participate in coordinated advocacy activities and meetings
- Learn how to effectively communicate business needs and policy recommendations
Legislative Reception in Collaboration with Virginia Union University.
The Legislative Reception offers attendees and invited dignitaries the opportunity to continue conversations in an informal, solution-focused setting, thereby strengthening relationships between the business and policy communities.
