Small Business Roundtable with U.S. Congressman Eugene Vindman
Having a seat at the table matters.
The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce hosted a Small Business Roundtable with U.S. Congressman Eugene Vindman, bringing together Virginia entrepreneurs and business leaders for a direct discussion of small business policy. This business roundtable with an elected official provided small business owners with an opportunity to share how federal policy affects small businesses across Prince William County and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
During the Small Business Roundtable with U.S. Congressman Eugene Vindman, the conversation focused on economic growth for small businesses, the impact of federal workforce decisions, and legislative engagement that directly affects entrepreneurs. This was not a partisan event. It was a meaningful policy dialogue focused on small-business advocacy in Virginia and on ensuring that business owners are included in economic development conversations.
We appreciate Congressman Vindman’s thoughtful engagement and his willingness to respond to real concerns from the business community. Following the roundtable, each participant received a personal thank-you letter from a sitting U.S. Congressman. That level of follow-through reinforces that this was more than a meeting; it was genuine federal policy engagement with small business voices.
We also thank Prince William County Board of Supervisor Victor Angry for participating in this Virginia small business leadership event and supporting local entrepreneurs.
A special thank you to Down Home Comfort Cafe for hosting this small business advocacy event. Their immediate willingness to support a business policy discussion reflects the strength of partnership within our ecosystem.
The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce remains committed to hosting business roundtables with lawmakers and advancing advocacy for Black owned businesses in Virginia. Representation without participation is not enough. Through continued legislative engagement and economic empowerment efforts, we ensure that small business voices remain central in shaping Virginia’s economic future.
